All students that have accomplished the skills necessary to be a level 3 gymnast are welcome to become a part of the Beacon Gymnastics Competitive Team.
Team Classes will be used to work specifically on routines for competition. Anyone wanting to compete must take the appropriate team class. I also encourage team competitors to enroll in skills classes at the appropriate level to develop and master new skills. There will be a reduced fee for those taking multiple classes in one session. Competitions generally begin in January and conclude in April or May. Anyone that plans to compete on the team should expect to incur the following costs along with class fees:

Competition leotard about $55 (unless used ones are available)

AAU membership fee $12 (required for all Beacon Gymnasts)

Meet fees approximately $35 per meet (there will probably be around 5 meets available for your gymnast to attend, you can choose to attend any or all of them- it will be entirely up to you)

Travel expenses (it will be your responsibility to get your gymnast to and from the meet often arrangements for carpooling can be made)
